 Licensed practical nurse JOB
Title: Licensed practical nurse
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Night
Salary: $22.50 Hourly for 42 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Red Deer, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Additional Skills: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check, Driving record check (abstract)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning
Other Information:Position involves caring for medically fragile children and adults with developmental disabilities in a warm home like environment. 2 wk rotation; all shifts are 9 PM - 9 AM; & every other weekend off
